On March 22, Louis Tomlinson’s documentary, Louis Tomlinson: All of Those Voices, was released in theatres. Beginning in April, fans will be able to view it on Paramount+. The official trailer for the documentary was made available by the streaming service on Tuesday, Sept. 19.

Archival video of the English singer-songwriter from his early years as a self-assured youngster to his rise to fame as one-fifth of the top boy band One Direction, many years before the idea for his solo career, is shown in the little clip. The 31-year-old began to doubt his capacity to achieve success outside of performing with his bandmates Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Liam Payne, and Zayn Malik as a result of his group’s success.

“I believed it was either the band or nothing for me. I found it difficult to see myself living alone. In the clip, Tomlinson describes the difficult time in his life: “I didn’t see a way back, not even musically, just to do anything.”

After some introspection, Tomlinson’s self-confidence increased, enabling him to return to the studio. “I began to believe that perhaps I have some intrinsic value. Why not try recording some music on your own? He added, “I remember contacting my mum, and she was like, ‘Well, that’s clearly what you’re gonna do. “It finally feels like everything is coming together for me. Finally, I feel deserving of my current situation and work.

The trailer ended with several footage showing Tomlinson’s life as a solo artist, including him playing in front of large crowds throughout the world, taking some much-needed time off, and generally seeming to be having a great time.

The documentary Louis Tomlinson: All of Those Voices, which claims to depict the star’s “highs of superstardom, to the lows of personal tragedy,” will air on Paramount+ on October 4.
