Billy Miller dead at 43 Just Two Days Before his Birthday

Former co-stars and close ones of the three-time Emmy Award winner expressed heartfelt memories soon after his loss was reported.

Billy Miller passed away at the age of 43. Sadly, the actor best known for his roles on General Hospital and The Young and the Restless passed away on September 14, just two days before turning 44.

He was “suffering from manic depression” at the time of his demise, according to a statement from his team; a cause of death has not yet been disclosed.

Former co-stars and other loved ones of the deceased actor didn’t hold back from posting condolences on social media soon after the news broke. The news of Billy Miller’s demise makes me very sad.

All of us who had the good fortune to know him will never forget his contagious charm and friendliness. I’m going to miss that sly smile. Love you, Billy,” the actress Eileen Davidson said on Twitter beside a picture of the two of them.

Billy, my comrade from Texas. Every room was brightened by your grin. Michael Muhney, who plays the actor, also posted a photo and a message on Twitter.

“Your quiet intensity onscreen was second only to your gentle kindness and genuine care in private,” he said.

Following three Daytime Emmy Awards for his performance in soap operas throughout the years, Billy’s tragic passing occurs. One award was given for outstanding lead acting in a drama series, while the other two were for outstanding supporting actors in a drama series. From 2008 to 2014, the gifted actor played Billy Abbott on The Young and the Restless, and from 2014 to 2019 he played Jason Morgan and Drew Cain on General Hospital.

Billy, a Grand Prairie, Texas native, began his thriving acting career in 2006 when he made an appearance on a CSI: NY episode. After that chance, he appeared on All My Children from 2007 to 2008 as Richie Novak. He has also had appearances in the TV shows Ringer, Suits, Ray Donovan, and Truth Be Told. He had long owned multiple pubs and restaurants in Los Angeles and had appeared in a few movies, including American Sniper.

His mother Patricia, sister Megan, brother-in-law Ronnie, nephew Grayson, and niece Charley all survive Billy.
