Shocking Country Star Zach Bryan's Oklahoma Arrest!

According to Rolling Stone, Zach Bryan was arrested on Thursday in Oklahoma on charges of "obstruction of investigation." On the same day, the singer-songwriter was released under release on bail.

Bryan sent a message on X, previously Twitter, following his arrest. "I ran into the Oklahoma Highway Patrol today," the person said. "Emotions got the better of me, and I said things that were inappropriate," he wrote on Thursday.  

 I support law enforcement in whatever way I can, but I was really upset at the time, and I apologize. A mug photo of me is flying around, and they took me to jail. 

In a recent Instagram Stories post by Bryan, a picture of a dog sitting in his passenger seat was accompanied by the statement, "On the road again, gonna go see the birds win.

Bryan's arrest comes after a run of historically successful performances. His self-titled album, which sold the equivalent of 200,000 units in its first week, debuted at Number One on the Billboard 200 albums list this week.  

It concurrently topped the rock, rock & alternative, Americana/folk, and country charts along with Spotify, iTunes, and iTunes Country.  

All 16 of its songs debuted in the Top 50 of the Billboard Hot 100, with his duet with Kacey Musgraves, "I Remember Everything," entering at Number One. 

The 2023 CMA Awards unveiled its finalists on Thursday morning, and Bryan is also up for New Artist of the Year.
