In a heartfelt homage to her late spouse, Jimmy Buffett's wife Jane Slagsvol reflected on the assistance of her loved ones, close friends, medical experts, and fans.

The touching tweet comes after Buffett passed away earlier this month due to complications from Merkel cell skin cancer.

Slagsvol was married to the late "Margaritaville" singer for nearly 45 years. He was 76.

Slagsvol said of Buffett, who received a skin cancer diagnosis four years prior, "These last few years have been unbelievably difficult for Jimmy and me, and we're not sissies."

She continued by expressing gratitude to Jimmy Buffett's "family" of fans and remarking that their energy was what "sparked" Buffett's onstage smile.

She expressed her appreciation for the singer's pals before praising them for their "breathtaking love and compassion.

Slagsvol concluded the article with a line from 'Bubbles Up', one of Buffett's final songs to be recorded.

One of the tracks on Jimmy Buffett's impending posthumous album, "Equal Strain on All Parts," is "Bubbles Up."
